• Clients often report a increased feeling of wellbeing after a Touch Therapy treatment, they also report improved sleep and, in some instances, a reduction in pain.

• Treatments can be adapted to take into consideration any medical devices or specific needs, and can be performed on a treatment couch or in a comfortable chair. 

• Cancer patients can have spa treatments, but the treatments may need to be adapted, for example, the therapist might need to take extra care or even avoid providing massage or reflexology to areas of the body where surgery has taken place.  

• Very special care needs to be taken when lymph nodes have been removed or potentially damaged by radiotherapy.
